The future of higher education in Britain is determined look quite different in comparison, as it does today. As online education comes in the wake of the United States and is gaining popularity among part-time workers and British students, others try to create a content-Open University, which eventually could draw One result of high quality, university of Europe. So what can we learn from the education system of Finland?

The reason for this brief analysis of the Finnish education system has taken the form of an article on the Nokia today in The Dallas Morning News) (February 9. It seems that the giant mobile phone, a headquarters in Espoo , introduced near Helsinki, in an attempt by an ingenious system of higher education, which is a win-win “in the sense of control is always wrong … It gives us conceptual, students with strong a wealth of theory, specialization and the ability to learn – it is a true jewel that this system is better than anyone I’ve seen. “(Heikki Norta.)

In fact, the Finnish education system has taken much time to the incredible skill of their students noted. In 2004 the BBC announced the publication of the results of the Program for International Student Assessment, Finland came in first for the general knowledge in mathematics, as well as obtaining the best possible way, and reading values Science – Korea, Hong Kong and the Netherlands.

One of the main differences Finnish education system is that, after primary school, students are allowed to focus traditionally separate (vocational training) or education (secondary education). After students of their school years, what is expected of higher education to enter the workplace, while university Directions are substantially complete so that the safety of higher education or University.

Causes Unlike Britain and the United States, the Finnish education system that the majority of students in courses in various fields such as engineering, computer science and mathematics, while grow here and Stateside English , graphics and media, urging students to register work already saturated. Simple, Finnish students prepare for jobs that are still available. Finally, the success of a system like this means that a scenario content Open University Europe only good for the United Kingdom, provided that the fins would like to get involved.

Education is a very important aspect in the lives of Romanians. Since time immemorial, to the smallest villages in the area they used to create a great respect for intellectuals in the village who used the teacher, the mayor and the priest. It is now more important than ever to be well educated. The education system in Romania in general seems very difficult for teachers and students.

Starts kindergarten at age three and late May at the age of six or seven, depending on the capacity of the child. Classes start at 8 clock and quit at noon. In kindergarten, they learn to draw, listen to stories of color, and then demonstrate what they have understood.

In addition, they can learn to sing and dance, we teach practical skills so they can learn by using paper boats, snow and other things related to their world. You can also foreign languages like English, German or French, depending on the profile of the nursery is.

At the end of kindergarten children are the schools that they will be assessed to participate. Primary education, therefore, begins at age six or seven years and ends at the age of 10 or 11 either. In this case, well, classes start at 8 am and ends at lunch. Children do not have lunch at school, but they can at home and a sandwich as a snack, they get a carton of milk and a role to have.

Furthermore, in primary education in Romania are Romanian school subjects, mathematics, music, sports, religion, art, skills, geography, history, biology, English or other foreign languages. Kindergarten and elementary school evaluation is conducted on varieties such as “insufficient”, “sufficient”, “good” and “very good”.

To continue, while I continue to teach high school, which for four years to students, new subjects such as physics, chemistry, another foreign language is French, German or Spanish. At the 7th class, they pass two national exams in Romanian and mathematics at the end of each legislative period. Incidentally, the academic year comprises two terms, and children are on holiday at Christmas, between the two terms, Easter and summer holidays, June 15 to September 15.

The 8th class is very important for the education system in Romania, for at its end must pass a final test the students in the Romanian language, mathematics and geography or history. On the traces they have to be 1 to 10, they can enter high school.

They also have the opportunity to work in a form to be filled with lists of schools and select one or more, but it depends on their grade point average in the tests when they are distributed, or do not want the school.

Students who pass this examination, the opportunity for vocational schools where they teach subjects that have to travel more convenient and at the end of these schools, they can make a conclusion.

Finally, after four years of high school, they must take the baccalaureate exam and then they can the university they want in power. The education system in Romania is required to attend school until age 16.
